Searching for program information and clarifying the direction of further studies
In recent years, the Government has been actively implementing the "Top Talent Pass Scheme" (TTPS) to attract top talents from all over the world to come to Hong Kong for development. The increase in the number of applicants for subsidized programmes under JUPAS has made the competition for local education even more intense. The exhibition attracted students of different grades, reflecting their concern for education planning. Mrs. Chan and her daughter attended the exhibition together to collect information on the admission of different institutions. Mrs. Chan said, "My daughter is currently studying in Form 6, majoring in Chinese History and Geography. In the future, she will consider further studies in Hong Kong or the Mainland and enroll in arts-related courses. Mrs. Chan said, "My daughter is now studying in Form 6, majoring in Chinese History and Geography, and will consider applying for arts-related courses in the future, either locally or on the Mainland.

Mr. Cheung, who is currently studying in Form 4, participated in the exhibition for the first time. He is majoring in Physics and Chemistry at school and is considering further studies locally or overseas. Mr. Cheung found the Expo very helpful. He visited the booths to learn more about local and overseas study pathways, and learned that he could enroll in a preparatory course after Form 5, which would pave the way for him to enroll in a foreign university.

Another student, Mr. Kwok, who is currently studying in Form 3, wants to learn more about senior secondary education as early as possible so that he can plan for his future. He plans to take up a science course or an innovative course related to technological development in university. His mother, Mrs. Kwok, said, "Apart from the local area, Australia is also one of the considerations. The environment there is safe and comfortable, and the academic level is internationally recognized, so it would be more comfortable to send our children to study in that country. Mr. Kwok found the seminar very useful in helping him to understand the requirements and academic structure of overseas studies and to formulate strategies for further studies.

Singapore and Australia are popular destinations for international students.
Singapore has become one of the most popular destinations for further studies in recent years. DR Media Singapore, a subsidiary of DR Pacific Holdings Limited, provides one-stop study in Singapore services to support students and parents who wish to study in Singapore. Dr. Fennie Lee, Chief Operating Officer of DR Pacific Holdings Limited, said, "Our services include school application, accommodation arrangement, visa application, and on-arrival reception, etc. The scope of application includes public universities, arts and crafts colleges and universities in Singapore. The scope of application includes Singapore public universities, arts colleges and universities, and branches of overseas universities in Singapore (e.g. branches of American and Australian institutions).
Dr. Lee pointed out that compared to Europe, America, Australia and Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong are close to each other geographically, safe and stable, and are the ideal places for parents and students to study. Generally speaking, more students enroll in business-related courses, such as finance, accounting, business management, etc. In addition, many students also apply for design courses.

According to Ms. Wong Yin Man, Director of International Overseas Study Centre, the United Kingdom and Australia have always been the most popular countries for overseas education. The exhibition attracted an enormous inquiries from Form 4 and Form 5 students, as well as many parents inquiring about overseas studies for their children. They are mainly concerned about tuition fees, course subjects, ranking and recognition of institutions. "If you want to study in another country universities in New Zealand are a choice because they are cheaper. The cost of living in New Zealand is also lower. Many parents want their children to get used to schools in countries when they are young. So they send their children to schools, in Australia or Canada," said Ms. Wong.

The booth of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University also attracted a large number of inquiries from parents and students. Mr. Cheng, the person in charge of the booth of HKMU, said that the number of inquiries exceeded 100, and they were interested in the nursing courses, physiotherapy, medical laboratory, etc. They were mainly concerned about the requirements of the course marks, admission criteria, and future career paths. In 2026/27, HKMU will offer two new programs, including "Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Robotics and Automation Engineering" and "Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography. " Mr. Cheng encourages students to participate in study fairs to obtain the latest information on university subjects, compare the characteristics of different institutions, and make more accurate study plans according to their interests and career planning.
